-=Chapter 1: Blocks Everywhere=-

(Read slowly for full effect!)

One short day, one of the 2 million registered users on minecraft.net finally had enough money to buy Minecraft, and so, he did.

Later on, after it was done installing, he would have gone and started it up.

He soon logged in, with a faithful heart that he will not blow up.

As the screen faded to black after he clicked "Login," .......in big words that popped up on the screen.....

"MINECRAFT"

This.......is the Story of Minecraft.

In the mountain range, the water was flowing, but quite awkwardly at that.

An odd pink lump shaped over the horizon.....it was a Pig.

Soon, on a shore, a man woke from slumber, his name was Steve. He slowly got up, holding his head as if he bumped into something. Steve looked around, seeing blocks, more blocks, and, in a grassy area over the horizon, a blocky tree. Steve walked over, slowly turning his head to the side to look around every now and then. One he got to the tree, he started looking in his "pockets," he noticed he didn't have an axe, so he used the only weapon he had--his fists.

It hurt greatly, and if you saw the pain yourself somehow, you would wince.

After a short while, Steve noticed the wooden block was cracking, and in an even shorter time, he broke it. The tree did not fall, oddly, and was floating. Steve shrugged, and continued punching the wood.

Later....

The sun was low enough to set the sky dark, and Steve had broken enough wood to make a Crafting Table. He opened his inventory, set all of his blocks of wood down, and crafted them into wooden planks.

He filled his crafting area with 4 wooden planks to craft a Workbench looking block, and set it down on the ground. In a short while, he made sticks, wooden pickaxes and soon shovels. He broke the Workbench, picked it up and walked to the nearest cliffside. He looked to the top of the mountain, and noticed the sun was setting behind it. Steve then started mining into the stone wall, making a small cliffside house.
He placed the Workbench on the ground in the corner, and crafted a door to place in the entrance.
Steve placed the door down, looked out the windows, and watched the sky darken.

Before he knew it, unknown entities were spawning in, and the only sounds heard afterwards were sounds of undead horrifications and evil, flesh eating monsters.

Steve was watching the chaos outside take place, as he saw a hoard of monsters approaching the mountain. He walked to his crafting table to create a Stone Sword. A stick in the bottom, and two blocks of Cobblestone in the top and middle. He created a sharp but still blocky Stone Sword, and took a look outside again.

They were very close, but something that caught his eye was a tall, green and white-dotted object, as if it were a monster made of leaves. Steve backed away from the door, as the green object closed in on the door...

The next sound Steve heard was a quiet hissing, as the green object.....

....EXPLODED.

It tore a hole in the side of the mountain, including blowing the door off. Soon, monsters crowded his everlasting "house," and he reacted fast enough to start digging diagonally downwards inside the hole in the mountain, soon blocking the hole off with cobblestone.

He escaped, but the area around him was quickly darkened. He saw black marks on a block of stone, and mined it. It was Coal. He continued mining out the vein of Coal and soon, it ended. He started digging a hole again. Steve got tired, so he started digging straight down, after around 3 minutes of digging, he fell throught the ceiling of a giant, wide open area, as though he was in a Museum. After a long and treacherous fall, he landed in a small patch of water that soon ended. It was pouring from a hole in the wall high above him, as he soon noticed he was in a Ravine. He brought up his inventory screen and crafted a few Torches, and placed them on the walls. Steve looked around, and saw many, many monsters, but he saw one that attracted his attention, with glowing, purple eyes.
