GoNintendo have gotten their hands on a scan of a page from the latest issue of Nintendo Power, which tells that the upcoming 3DS port of Tales of the Abyss will be released not only in Japan, but in America as well.
The exact words written on the page read “The modern RPG classic Tales of the Abyss is about to be reborn on the Nintendo 3DS. Yes, even in America!”, and carry with them art of the game's main characters standing beside it.
Tales of the Abyss 3D is set to be released on June 30th in Japan, and while there has been no release date talk for America as of yet, localisation is likely to go smoothly since the original game for PS2 was released in America, fully dubbed.
Given the extremely patchy localisation that the Tales of series has been recieving as of late, this may well be a good sign of things to come.
