I remember Tamagotchi. But, I think playing Tamagotchi on a phone or tablet isn't the same as using a keychain.

There was a Pokemon Pikachu version of Tamagotchi which look kind of cool back in the day Pokemon was popular. I watch news stories of kids getting upset because their Tamagotchi got sick in the game, and they were a distraction in class.

I like the idea of mini key chain sized Gameboy games but feeding a virtual pet is not very fun compared to feeding real animals, or even watering a plant.
