When you go shopping at a department store, having good customer service is key to ensuring your customers have a good shopping experience. However given that we are humans with our own lives to deal with, sometimes it’s hard to remain upbeat and positive all the time, which is why there are instances where customer service might not always be at its best.

This is something Target is hoping to avoid which is why according to the rumors, there are plans to start testing robot workers in their stores. This will be the result of a collaboration between the retailer and Techstars, a startup accelerator which will see the launch of a new Target concept store in 2016.

I think more shoppers will go to Wal-Mart and other stores if Target uses too many Robot Workers because at Wal-Mart there are human employees to find items for you to buy instead of a robot which may not be as helpful.

I don't really like Target because the prices are not very good, and there are not enough products I want to buy from Target which I can get on Amazon, eBay, Wal-Mart, and other stores for a better price. I also don't like the design of Target's website.

I know we are advancing well in robot tech, but I'm pretty sure we're not advancing that well for Target to have robo helpers.

I agree, we're probably not advancing as much were Target can have Robo helpers since some of the robot video I see online shows the Robot moving very slowly, and sometimes falling down. Plus, a human worker who works at Target is probably better at convincing buyers to buy stuff like HDMI Cables, extended warranties, Jewelry, and Watches which can earn a store a lot of money if many buyers buy those things.
