If you have a killer media center PC, or you're playing on consoles (we won't judge too harshly), perhaps you could use a better TV. One of TCL's most popular smart TVs, the 65-Inch 4K 2018 model, has dropped to just $719.99 on Amazon. That's $580 off the original MSRP, and $100 below the previous price.

This TV is fairly feature-packed, with support for 60Hz 4K, Dolby Vision HDR, HDR10, and TCL's 'NBP Proton' technology that improves color space coverage. It also runs Roku OS, so you get easy access to just about every streaming service in existence.

Our friends at Tom's Guide reviewed this model last year, and they gave it their Editors Choice award, saying it offers "great performance, better backlighting and everything we love about Roku, all for an affordable price."

This 4K smart TV from Roku is $100 off the usual price, and it has plenty of great features. Buy at Amazon

Yeah since most of the people buy smart TV ....

I agree most people want Smart TVs.

I think it is now more difficult for buyers to find a good non-Smart TV since most big electronics stores seem to have more smart TVs on display at their store's shelves.

What is TCL? I'm not sure I could trust a brand like that, to be honest. I got a 50-inch Samsung Smart TV (4k) for just £340 recently so that wasn't too bad a deal.

That's true most of the people wants branded stuff they don't invest money on unbranded stuff...

I also have non Smart TVs. Some of the TVs are those older Tube style TVs which are very heavy and thick. I also have a Plasma TV which is many years old, and thin like a LCD, but uses Plasma TV technology instead of LCD.

I also like old TVs. My old TVs are very reliable in my experience. I have some old TVs which are over 10 years old and still work well after using them for many hours per day.

I like that old TVs have a remote with fewer buttons and features like smart features and apps which may break in the future. My Plasma TV and old Tube style TVs also have good color quality where the color black looks black instead of gray like some LCD TVs. Colors like green, red, blue, and orange look nicer and brighter than LCD TVs and monitors.
