Japanese publisher Atlus has announced that they will be bringing their strategy RPG, Tears to Tiara 2: Heir of the Overlord to Europe and North America.
The protagonist of the game, named Hamilcar Barca, is a young man who is essentially enslaved to an empire. After troubling events unfold, and with the help of a goddess, he gains the strength to lead a rebellion against the empire.
Atlus says that their RPG unfolds like a novel, and includes over 80 hours of gameplay with around 15 main characters. It has spoken Japanese dialogue with English subtitles.
The publisher stresses that although this is the second game in the series, no knowledge of previous games is necessary to understand this one.
Tears to Tiara 2: Heir of the Overlord will cost $40 USD and will be available exclusively on the Playstation 3. It releases on October 14 in North America, and November 11 in Europe.
