Temple Run 2 has surged past Angry Birds Space to become the "fastest growing mobile game" ever. Developer Imangi Studios has announced that the game was downloaded over 50 million times across iOS, Android, and Kindle devices in its first 13 days. Angry Birds Space needed 35 days to reach 50 million downloads.

I checked the Google Play market charts for free games app, and Temple Run 2 is the top most downloaded free game. Amazing how fast it went up to the top spot in the free games app section in Google Play Market in under a month.

The game is awesome, but 50 million in 13 days is a bit more than I expected.
