Here I am, downloading Internet Explorer 8 for testing my website with and once I install it, everything decides to crack the craps! Goodbye newfound activity at N3DSC!

*weeps quietly*

Please, somebody, for the love of cheese, tell me that the following link is legit:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/internet-explorer/products/ie/home?WT.srch=1

If it is, then something's wrong with Avast; the second I installed it, it cracked the MASSIVEST hissy fit on me and for some reason, all of it's "shields" were "unreachable". Apparently a Boot-scan (scan before the computer boots up) would fix this, but when I tried to schedule a boot and restarted, it didn't even perform a scan.

The fact the computer works now has me in utter confusion, it seriously looked like it was screwed. So now I have a computer that's a bit virus-prone at the moment, and I'm not sure if I should even attempt re-installing Avast (last time I did, crap went down and it wasn't pretty; it changed the style to Windows 98 rather than ye olde XP for instance, plus it decided to shut down).

Thank gawd a new computer is hopefully coming soon, I like this one, but a new one is overdue.

On another note, the nofication bar at the top of the site won't disappear for me! FREAKIN' FUN FOR EVERYONE.

If anybody's bored, here's another link to check for being legit:

If you're having problems with your computer, why are you thanking it?

IE9 is only for Vista and 7 (Actually, I'm not so sure about that.) You could just use Chrome or Firefox though, NintenDan.

Yeah, I think it's only for 7. I've had Firefox and Chrome on here before the IE8 incident, which is okay. Plus I found a multi-in-one IE browser program for testing sites in the one place. Just now IE8 screwed over my anti-virus, so I have to get that back up and running before I can declare everything fixed, heh.
