PS4 That was odd

For some reason my modem lost internet the other day and at the same time my PS4 pro (which is hooked up via a switch (not Nintendo Switch )) shut off while playing my anime blu-ray. I got it back on, but had to do a system check.

Far as I can tell nothing else shut off or was affected. Hopefully that isn't a bad sign?

If it ran a system check and everything went fine, there shouldn't be any problems.
Happend to me a couple of times, PS still purrs.

Still odd that from my modem through my router through my switch it made my PS turn off? Though I guess it could be a coincidence.

Maybe you are having ISP related problems which somehow made your PS4 Pro misbehave.

Good to hear that it hasn't done any damage to the PS4. I've only ever had my PS4 randomly go off a few times and every time, it is slightly scary as I wait for it to turn back on.

wouldn't mind for the HDD to become damaged so I could buy an SSD for it
