Forgot to kill my VPN tonight, and after I did so abruptly, my pc lost internet connection, had to reboot my entire network to get things going again. When I rebooted my PC, my two screens swapped, to the point I had to go off the left side on my left screen to reach my screen on the right. Which my screen on the right also reduced its resolution permanently to 1600 x 900. I did some playing around, swap cables, then swap monitors themselves around, nothing was fixing it, so I deleted all my monitor drivers and restarted, seem to fix it.

But what the hell happened?

I don't get how your resolution got messed up?, that has nothing to do with VPN and network reset.

Maybe Windows Update automatically update your monitor drivers, and Windows Update installed the wrong drivers or something went wrong during a Windows update install which require a Windows restart.

As lo.ng as your GPU drivers are updated then.. and Windows is updated
