E3 The Crew 2 trailer

too many racing games of late.

As much as I do enjoy this adrenaline, action packed trailers I have to admit that I'm not too big into racing games. They all just seem far too similar to each other and like Demon said, there's a flood of them recently. From the Need for Speed to Crew, to Forza and so on. I think the developers should focus more on making these games unique and add brand new features that have never been added before instead of remodeling and remodifying same old, same old.

I don't know if the flood of racing games is anything new, as far as I can remember the market has always been pretty saturated. Just in the past two years we've had Project Cars, Assetto Corsa, Driveclub, Need for Speed, The Crew: Wild Hunt, the F1 racing games. I could go on. I like that this sequel is at least bringing something new to the table by including the other forms of racing. It should be an interesting one, and if I play even one racing game that year it'll probably be this one.

Racing games that I liked were Crash Team Racing and Mario Kart. I haven't tried these kind of racing game yet, it helps that there's a lot of variety of racing in this game, I've watched the gameplay, there's plane, boat, dirt car and etc. It also have a GTA feel to it. But I think I might take a pass to this game.

True enough. Funny thing is. I have The Crew, but I have not played it for a single bit. I don't know, it might just be me, but racing / car games are just getting old. There isn't anything special to them, at least not in my opinion. My friends used to play it daily, kept bothering me to get it, but, I don't know. I guess I got bored of such games.

Wow, this is epic, outstanding and fabulous. I've played all sort of racing games but I've never seen anything like this. Kudos to the developer, they made everything look real with the storyline and its world class design. The not so good feature is the always-online aspect, it will create technical glitches and other issues. So I'll pass.

Racing games have been formulaic for a while now. Even in the early 2000s when I played this F1 game, it's basically still the same with today's racing games. The only difference is graphics, and that's the only aspect these games are one-upping each other. The more realistic, the more bragging rights. The more you can't tell whether a picture is from a game or from real life, that's a win. Other than that, it's basically the same game with a different look. You have to cross the finish line first. Everything else doesn't matter.
