I watched this movie when I was very young, probably kid but at that point I didn't understand much of it or maybe I did but I forgot I did
However, I rewatched it when I grew up and really loved it. It's a unique movie in a way, full of goth elements and nice acting by Brandon Lee.

Sounds familiar, can't recall if I've watched it or not.

I would definetly recommend if you are into gothic, dark genre with some very nice story. Acting was really good and the movie sadly didn't live to have sequal because main actor was killed during filming on the set.

They've done a remake haven't they? I dislike this trend of remaking excellent older movies. Where are the original ideas?

There is a sequal with another actor which ruins the mood totally. Luckly, I didn't watch it. They also made a remake in recent years but I just couldn't watch that WOKE garbage of a movie.

What's "woke" about it? I haven't seen it either.
I haven't seen full movie but there was something at the beginning of it that triggered me. I didn't recall what it was at this very moment but I do not dare checking it out again. It was something cringy.

There's 5 films in the franchise. The original is notable for the main actor being killed on set.

Really? I didn't even know that. I love first one, second one didn't watch because of the reviews (not a good excuse) and afterwards - nothing. However, you are wrong about the first movie. He wasn't killed in the first movie set but in the second.

Brandon Lee? He was 100% killed on the movie set during production of the first Crow movie. It's why for decades everyone was against a Crow remake.

Lol. I googled that and it seems to be correct. That gives movie even more to it's uniqueness. Shocking to me but an interesting ending for a movie and his life (sadly).

There's no "seems" lol, it's been widely known for decades.
