Apparently Cloud Imperium Games is considering legal action against The Escapist after the latter published an article about the company and (what its sources said were) its working practices. Basically, the article accused them of improper/potentially illegal working practices and said that Chris Roberts' was 'arrogant' in his pursuit of funding.
Here's the original:

The sources they used may have been questionable, and the company says the site didn't vet its sources properly and posted misleading/incorrect info.
So what do you think? Personally, I'm not surprised we're seeing stuff like this now, the gaming media is ridiculously poor at adhering to journalistic best practices and their articles can cause real damage if not properly sourced or written. I'm just a bit surprised its them being sued.
Either way, it's certainly going to be 'interesting' to see what the outcome of all this stuff is.
