So I recently watched this anime movie and since it was getting a lot of praise I decided to check it out and in the end, I was disappointed.
Let me say that this anime has some glorious looking backgrounds in it, however a lot of focus is shown on that and the character drawings/animation isn't that of high quality from what I could tell. I would say a good 30 mins of the movie is nearly wasted on just showing people walking or things going on in the background, things better put towards the plot, the plot which I didn't get.
What starts out as a slice of life with time travel ends up being a rather cheap love based story which is kind of rushed and vague on, honestly this movie didn't spend anytime focusing on why events even happened.
I will say though, this movie shows why we should never have time travel.
Anyways, if you have a rainy day and need to watch something this wouldn't be too bad. But I wouldn't recommend going out of your way in watching it.
