The Legend of Zelda CDI Games

For those who don't know, in the mid 90s Nintendo had paired with Philips to make 3 Zelda games for their failed CDI console. Those games ended up being:

The Faces of Evil
The Wand of Gamelon
Zelda's Adventure

Did anyone have a CDi back in the day? If you did, did you play the games?

I emulated them, and as funny as the cutscenes are, nothing prepares you for the shitty controls and the tedious item usage in the side scrollers.

Zelda’s Adventures’s controls aren’t that bad, but there’s some mind boggling design choices

Cutscenes are timeless and music is something, otherwise I can't believe Nintendo signed off on it.

They have charm but that's about it. Sort of what Arzette did better in every way.

I never had a CDi and I have zero desire to play the games, but Phillips sure did provide us with some insanely memeable content. XD

Fun fact, the failure of these three games is a huge part of why Nintendo no longer allows their main IPs on other consoles.
