Xbox Live head Marc Whitten took Microsoft's stage today at E3 to announce several new dashboard updates and features for the service.

Whitten said the new Xbox 360 dashboard can be controlled completely with your voice. You can also access your PC media libraries using Kinect. As for partnerships, Whitten announced Youtube is coming to Xbox Live. He did not specify whether or not it would fully support Youtube or if it's select content.

Xbox Bing was also announced with voice command search. "You say it, Xbox finds it," Whitten said. Additionally, Xbox Live TV was announced with voice command DVR support.

UFC pay-per-view is also coming to Xbox live. Company president Dana White took the stage to make the announcement.

These updates will go live in the fall.

Didn't they announce that the 360 would be completely controlled with the kinect last year?

The bing will fail since it only searches Netflix and their selected services.
PS3/Rev on the other hand have a fully functioning web browser with, wait for it... Bing. Or Google. Or Yahoo.

UFC... I guess for people that order a lot of UFC ppv that's a good thing. For everyone else, it's kind of meh.

I like the idea of YouTube coming to the 360 but the other updates arent that exciting! Doesn't the kinect already allow you to speak a command and have the Xbox do something? I guess the new version would have more commands. Either way I'm glad to see that they keep updating things and keep trying to improve!

Why the hell can't they put a damn browser in it? Even if it would be Internet Explorer, we need a damn browser, Microsoft!

Youtube seems to be the only 'cool' feature. I don't have a Kinect and don't want to shell out 150$ to not have to use the controller and throw punches at my television.

Interesting, and good if you have a Kinect but just seems more of an update with new features than a "new" Xbox Live.

I wonder if the voice-controlled dashboard will work like it is going to work like it is designed to, and not get everyone pissed off and throw their controller at their TV.

Will we still be able to use our controller if we so choose? I don't like using the voice feature on the Kinect. :/

Anyways, I look forward to having YouTube on my Xbox, will be able to search all those game guides directly on my Xbox rather than having to switch to my computer. I just hope it's ALL of YouTube rather than just certain content.
