Yeah I'm going to do the same thing, my wife went and watched it with her dad over the weekend for his birthday and she liked it. I think I will too but I think it'll be worth waiting for it to come to streaming services.

Gonna be honest, I have no desire to see this in theaters. I was super excited to see this have a more modern adaptation with all of the new advances in technology. I know Nolan has a proclivity to use practical effects. Then the actress picked to be Helen of Troy was announced, I sighed because I knew what would follow. Sure enough, it became clear this wasn't an adaptation...it was an interpretation by the current Hollywood.

Then people who are nerds and fans I trust said the sound sucks, that they removed a lot of what made Oysseus well Odysseus.

So I'll wait until it is free.
