The official 'who will be the Paper Mario 3DS villain' thread

Who do you think? I know it'll probably be some random new villain, but the poll has all the past Mario RPG villains for anyone who believes one will return.

I agree with Yoshi. The Mario RPG's are just so random with bosses and are never constant.

I have only played the first Paper Mario (and didn't even finsih it), so my best guess is to just say Bowser.

I agree with this. The Paper Mario RPG's have had at least one new villain.

Shadow Queen was such an annoying boss, not to mention if you failed and died vs. her you had to wait through 5-10 minutes of cutscenes JUST TO REFIGHT HER AGAIN. >_____<


I'm MORTIFIED to know what would happen would Shadoe Queen be a boss once again.

The Shadow Queen wasn't that tough, especially if you used the Danger Mario setup, but it'd be a bit unoriginal to reuse her as a villain.

I know what you mean, Yoshi. The fight took me forever as well. In fact I had her down to 5 hp and you I didn't do the action command right with the hands coming out of no where and that 1 little mistake cost me the whole battle.

Also I'm surprised I beat her, but of course my GC memory corupted so it was in vain. I actually never want to do it again after that.

And as much as I love Fawful and company, I highly doubt they'd take M&L bosses.

I'm pretty much agreeing with Yoshi here (like everyone else, unsuprisingly) on both the new boss, and Bowser being a lesser boss.

And I just decided to grind and got millions of FP, HP, HPp and PP badges.
Well the new Sub-Major boss will be an Old Man-ish character with a staff/wand that has high Magic power.

Also none of those characters can come back cause they're all dead... 'cept Bowser of course.
"Wait the dead bit means nothing cause they can just use a 1-up right?" WRONG. The 1-up shrooms only work on the hero(and possibly Bowser). Which in itself is kinda stupid.

Nah, if Nintendo wants them to return, they will return, regardless of any logic. If not, don't count on seeing them again, regardless of any logic.

Shadow Queen wins the cookie for my most epic, near-failure boss battle in the Paper Mario series ever. Lotsa fun. But she's dead, and I wouldn't expect to see her again.
I expect a new villain. Nintendo is generally good at making up whacky new characters.
