If you've been dying to try Star Wars: The Old Republic but haven't ponied up for the game and a subscription, you can get your feet wet this weekend. A free trial runs from Thursday, March 15 at 12:01 a.m. CDT until Monday, March 19 at 2:00 a.m. CDT, and requires no payment information to get started.
The trial is open to anyone who hasn't previously had an active game account, and allows new players to try out all of The Old Republic's eight classes.
The content, however, is limited. Today's press release states that it involves "the opening adventures of each of the eight character classes...exploring both their Origin World and their faction's Capital World." Players will additionally be able to jump into PVP Warzone, as well as play through The Esseles and Black Talon flashpoints.
