The Santa Clause Is Returning As a Disney+ Series

Allen is set to reprise his role as Scott Calvin from the original films, in addition to serving as executive producer on the series. Jack Burditt, who has worked on 30 Rock, Modern Family, Frasier, and more, is also on board as an executive producer. Production on the series is set to begin in March.

The new series will follow Calvin, who is still serving as Santa Claus as he nears his 65th birthday. He wants to return to the normal world, so he sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while also preparing his family to leave the North Pole.

If he just let Jack Frost be Santa he wouldn't worry about needing another Santa but oh well. Hope it's creative and makes watchers feel some sort of emotion. Then he can return to Home Improvement or Last Man Standing and get to how families really work out.

He definitely wont be returning to Home Improvement unless they want to reboot it and if they do, it would be with an all new cast. Plus the guy who played Wilson passed away a few years back so it wouldnt be the same.

Kind of nice to see this series get closure at least, but I really hope it ends after this.
