This topic is about my RPG Forum Game, The Subspace Chronicles. This post contains information on how to sign up and basic rules, the next post details Battle, Field, Partner, Party and Buddy Actions, the post after that contains a list of locations you can visit, including Shops and Items, and finally the post after that details enemy information (such as their stats).

Signing Up and Information

So, you're probably wanting to sign up, I mean, that's why you're reading this right? Well, just hang on and I'll show you how. First, copy this set-up into a reply for this topic.

Character Name:
Character Species:
Appearance:
Weapon(s):
Magic Class:
Magic Abilities:
Ability:
Profile:

Now fill out the information. Below is some more help on doing this:

Character Name: This is what we are to call your character in the game, DUH!
Character Species: What species is your character? Human? Fox? Hedgehog? Shadow Siren? Yoshi? Angel? Shy Guy?
Appearance: Tell us what the character looks like, the more detail the better. Pictures would be GREATLY appreciated.
Weapon(s): Outline the weapons you start with. Note that you are only allowed TWO at the beginning of the game, and GUNS ARE NOT PERMITTED. This makes it unfair for the enemies who won't have access to them. However, other projectiles like a crossbow are, of course, allowed.
Magic Class: You can choose from three Magic Classes, each with pros and cons. Dark Magic will do damage to the enemy. White Magic boosts and helps the team (like health restoration or temporary ATK boost) and Ying Yang Magic can do both, but can't heal/boost/damage as mucch.
Magic Abilities: This is your MA list. All learned spells go here. Describe what they do to, please.
Ability: Each character can have ONE special Ability, such as super speed, or extra attack power or defense power. These aren't automatic, to use them you must first state it. You can change the Ability ever time you reach a level that is a multiple of 5.
Profile: Outline what your character is like in terms of personality. Their likes, dislikes, and favourite ways to attack or defend go here.

Now comes the difficult part: Your stats. Each time you level up these increase a little. These are all the different stats:

Level: Your current Level. This goes up with more EXP.
HP: Hit Points. Lose all of these and you'll be literally taking a dirt nap!
MP: Magic Points. You'll need these to cast Magic. As you level up, your MA can level up too, either decreasing the points required to cast, or increase their power.
Speed: Determines if you or the enemy goes first in a battle. It may also decide how often you can attack in a Round and if you can catch a thief after being robbed.
ATK: Attack Power. How much damage you do is based on this. Take your attack power and subtract the defense of the opponent and this is how much damage you deal.
DEF: Defense power. When an enemy attacks you, you simply subtract your defense from their attack and this is how much damage you take.
EXP: Gain enough of these to level up and boost your stats. Levelling up is crucial to success against harder enemies.

Each new player gains these Base Stats.
HP: 10/10
MP: 7/7
ATK: 2
DEF: 2
Speed: 5
EXP: 0

However excluding EXP, you can increase any ONE of these by two, OR increase TWO of these by one. Take your pick. Every time you level up, the stats you chose to increase here go up a little more than the others (plus two for first option or plus one for second option).

Levelling Up
To level up, you'll need EXP. This is gained by defeating enemies. When you defeat an enemy you will have to roll a 6-sided die (Don't have one? Go here: http://www.random.org/dice/) as many times as outlined in the enemy info of this topic (you may have to roll multiple times for stronger enemies). If you match the EXP requirement your level will go up! When this happens, roll the die once each for ALL stats and increase them by the number shown. Now drop your EXP to zero. If there was any left over EXP, add that to the zero. You can level up quite a few times if you roll correctly and enough times!!
When you DO level up please make the appropriate changes here in this topic.

Also, with EXP, your EXP to level up is 5 multiplied by your current level. In this case, gaining 5 EXP gets you to Level 2, and than you need 5x2, which is 10, for the next, and so on.

The Bottomless Bag
The most crucial thing here besides your weapons, the Bottomless Bag comes in two styles: a backpack or a satchel bag. The bag is, as the name implies, bottomless. You can put as many items in the bag as you can afford. BUT BE CAREFUL, since some items and ALL weapons must be equipped to be used. They can be placed in the bag but can't be used until Equipped. Your Bottomless Bag can only be opened by YOU, so no-one else can unless you give them permission.
The only thing that can't go in here is Rupees (details below).

Rupees

Despite the games location the currency is Rupees. Rupees are essential to buy things. You'll need as many of these as possible if you want to survive, as they are the thing that stands between you and that Inn Stay or Shroom Shake you need desperately.

You are given 10 Rupees to start with and the basic Rupee Pouch, which can hold up to 100. To hold more you'll need to by bigger pouches (see items). You can also invest them into a Bank Account, which costs 50 Rupees. The Rupees stored here will never go missing, regardless. Banks, unlike you, cannot be robbed.

Warning: DO NOT, EVER, PUT YOUR RUPEES IN THE BOTTOMLESS BAG, EVEN IN A RUPEE POUCH!! Doing so simply disintegrates them into worthless powder that no-one has any use for. You can attach the pouch to either your bag or your belt. If your bag is stolen and the pouch is attached to it you will lose the pouch as well.

Robbery!

This happens often, especially at Rogueport (the starting city). Equipped Items (see Items below), Bottomless Bags and of course Rupees can go missing. You'll need to chase down that d@mn thief and get your stuff back! If you don't they will start stealing more and more often to the point of them FOLLOWING YOU during a task, and robbing you each night. Don't let it happen to you!

Because the Bottomless Bag can NOT be opened by anyone except the person who owns it, nothing will go missing from it, but you will be temporarily unable to use anything in it. If you lose the Rupee Pouch, well better get it back for the Rupees go missing! And if an item is stolen, better get that back before it's used up!

Equipped Weapons, Armor, Medallions, and Items

These are the sections that detail what Weapons, Armor, Medallions, and Items you have equipped. Some Items cannot be used unless Equipped (check out the Items section for more details). Medallions cannot be used unless equipped, and only three are allowed to be equipped at one time. Store the others in the Bottomless Bag.

You can have up to three Weapons equipped, others are stored in the Bottomless Bag.

You can have only ONE piece of Armor equipped. As usual, the rest is stored in the Bottomless Bag.

NOTE ABOUT GUNS!

Feel free to use guns, but please, DO NOT USE A REALISTIC GUN, SUCH AS A PISTOL. Canons that fire Bob-Ombs and the like are also NOT PERMITTED. Please ask first, if you want to use a gun of sorts. You can, of course, use something like MegaMan's Mega Buster or Fox's blaster, but nothing realistic. Come on, the enemies need a fighting chance too after all - they will be restricted to Items, and no weapons (unless specified).

Ok. So your stats should look like this (not including the stat boosts you used):

Character Name:
Character Species:
Appearance:
Weapon(s):
Magic Class:
Magic Abilities:
Ability:
Profile:

HP: 10/10
MP: 7/7
ATK: 2
DEF: 2
Speed: 5
EXP: 0
Equipped Medallions:
Equipped Armor:
Equipped Weapons:
Equipped Items:
Bottomless Bag: Nothing (List EVERYTHING you store in it here, Weapons, Items, Armor, Medallions, Important Stuff, you name it!)
Rupees (Pouch): 10/100
Rupees (Bank): 0

Update your stats each time you play, please!

Finally, decide on some battle music. Use this only when in a normal (non-boss) battle. You can pick anything you like. If you don't than you can still play the music, but I'll just assume you don't want to bother. And you don't have to, either.

Partner information MUST be updated as well. You can read about them in Battle, Field and Partners below. If you want a Buddy, you can put this up as well. Remember Buddies do NOT attack, all they need is a Personality.

Basic Rules

Not following these too many times may result in the death of your character!

1. Pick any character you want and change them to what you want them to look like. Feel free to give them a new name, too.
2. NO CHEATING. No updating your stats, giving yourself free Rupees and Items, or saying that you won a battle. You are also asked to provide as much detail as you can so you'll need to be a good writer. If you start getting suspiciously lucky, I will start performing your die rolls FOR you, as well as performing your battles.
3. Myself, NintenDan and Wasabi will be keeping a close eye on things and how they are going as well as playing. We'll decide together if a rule has been broken and a suitable punishment.
4. Be specific. Post what you wanna do and how you're gonna do it providing as much information as you can.
5. Don't disobey the forum rules here, since they apply to the WHOLE FORUM.
6. Partners are available, see Items for more information on them. They are found in a style highly similar to Pokemon.
7. I may not be a mod here, but this is my game and I'd like it to be enjoyable. Me, NintenDan and Wasabi will notify you if you're not following the rules. Please respect them. Also, if multiple offences occur, I will ask kindly that you do not post for a while here, and notify other players that any posts made by you are to be ignored until further notice.
8. Don't worry, I might be the creator here but me, NintenDan and Wasabi are starting off with the same stats everyone else is. No-one has the right to make themselves overpowered. We will also not cheat.
9. Feel free to post whenever you like, just make sure that when you are finished you come back here and update your stats.
10. Sign-Ups are here and in PM's ONLY. Otherwise, your sign-up is ignored. Please, wait for approval by me, NintenDan or Wasabi before you start posting.

Basic Gameplay:

This is an RPG with a battle system, similar to Pokemon or Final Fantasy. For most things you'll need to roll a die and read what the number's function is.

Field Actions

This is what you can do in the field. Most things require you to roll a die, so this is how things play out (make sure to be creative in your writing!)

In the Field before you roll to perform an action, you must roll for an Encounter. This starts a battle with an enemy. Note that if you are in a Town or City this rule doesn't apply. Instead roll, if you got a 1 you got robbed! (See below)

Here's what you got depending on what you roll:
1 - An enemy attacks you, launching you into a battle. The enemy is one of the stronger enemies in the area.
2 - It's an enemy, but one of the weaker natives. No problem.
3 - An enemy spots you, but doesn't move towards you at all. You can choose to battle it, or not.
4 - No enemies spot you.
5 - No enemies spot you. In fact, you may even spot one of them!
6 - You spot an enemy, but it is one of the tougher variants. Unfortunately for you, you try to sneak up on it but it knows where you are and actually surprises you instead!

If you are in a Town or City and where robbed:
1 - They took a few Rupees!
2 - They took the whole Rupee Pouch!
3 - They took your Bottomless Bag, and the Rupee Pouch if it was attatched!
4 - They took an Equipped Item!
5 - They took a combination of any two things, maybe even two Equipped Items!
6 - They take your bag, pouch AND all your Equipped items!

When a battle begins, follow the rules of battling as outlined below. After the battle, if any and if you didn't lose all your HP, you can perform a Field Action. Decide what you wanna do and roll the die again.

If you roll a:

1 - You can't find what you are looking for, or fail with what you wanted to do.
2 - You thought you saw something, but looking again it was nothing.
3 - You are able to perform the action. Nothing special happens though.
4 - You succeed and score a little bonus.
5 - You succeed and score a bigger bonus.
6 - You succeeded so well you hurt yourself. Roll the die again for damage.

Remember, you don't have to say your action or what you rolled on the die. Just formulate a story as to what happened and post what you wanted to do.

Note: You don't have to roll for a Field Action if you are in a City or Town. You also don't need to roll if you simply want to continue along a path.

Field Actions can be anything from looking for something to speaking to someone to examining something to hitting a switch. Perform what you think is necessary for that situation.

Battle Actions

Of course, there's going to be plenty of battling going on. This is what happens in a battle. The battles are played in real-time, although since you'll need to roll it may feel turn-based. When describing what happened try to make it sound real-time, ok?

In a battle, you and your opponent(s) face off. The winner is the last person standing. Health is NOT automatically restored after each battle - that's what Inns and Health Blocks are for.

Except for Bosses, when you have a Battle roll to find out how many enemies there are. Roll again for each additional enemy to see how strong the are:

1 - Basic enemy.
2 - Basic enemy.
3 - Basic enemy.
4 - Slightly stronger enemy for that area.
5 - Slightly stronger enemy for that area.
6 - Basic enemy.

Finally, roll to see if they have an Item. If it's a 5, they have something of your choice, if its anything else they don't.

You have a few options in battle. You can:

Attack: Launch an attack at the enemy. Preferably with the Equipped weapon. You need to roll either a 2, 3, 4 or 5 to succeed. If it's a 1, you missed. If it's a 6, you hurt yourself - subtract half of your attack power from your health, rounded up. If it's a 5, it's a critical hit, so multiply the damage by 2.
Defend: Defend against an attack. Boost your defense by an extra die roll.
Use an Item: Use an item from either Equipped or Bottomless Bag. What can be used from the Bottomless Bag is listed in the Items section. You don't need to roll.
Activate your Ability: Activate your special ability. You don't need to roll to do this.
Magic Attack: Perform one of the Magic Abilities you have learned. Nope, no die roll here either. You need to roll either a 2, 3, 4 or 5 to succeed. If it's a 1, you missed. If it's a 6, you hurt yourself - subtract half of your attack power from your health, rounded up. If it's a 5, it's a critical hit, so multiply the damage by 2.

When YOU attack

When you perform a basic attack, simply take your attack power and your opponents Defense power. Subtract it from your attack power. This is how much damage you deal to the opponent, so subtract this from their total HP.

For example: I attack a Goomba. I rolled a 3, so its a success. My attack is 5, Goomba's have 1 defense (not really, just for education purposes). 5-1=4, so the Goomba takes 4 damage. They have a HP of 5, so 5-4=1, this Goomba's going DOWN!

Attacking with Magic is the same, except you may need to subtract a few Magic Points to attack.

Now repeat for any Partners you have and move onto the opponent.

When your OPPONENT attacks

Firstly, roll the die and follow these. If it's a:

1 - They missed!
2 - They launch a basic attack.
3 - They use the Item, if any. If not, its a basic attack.
4 - They launch a 'tougher' attack.
5 - They launch a Magic Attack.
6 - They missed and you countered it! Subtract half of your attack power from their HP.

Than carry out the normal actions:
When they perform a basic attack, simply take thier attack power and your Defense power. Subtract it from their attack power. This is how much damage they deal to the you, so subtract this from your total HP.

Repeat for all enemies.

If You Won:

You gain EXP by rolling the die the number of times for the enemy/ies you defeated. Each enemy has a specified number of how many times you roll. Now continue with the Field Action, if any, you wanted to perform.

If You Lost:

Decide whether you want to wait for help or Return to Rogueport. You may wait up to three real-life days for help and after that you are sent back to Rogueport. Returning to Rogueport results in losing any Rupees you are carrying and any Equipped items excluding weapons. If you wait for help though, you do just that. You don't lose anything you are carrying.

Partners

Partners are not to be confused with your party. They have the power to help and assist you, but unlike your Party they are with you forever unless traded. Partners, once obtained, are stored in a Medallion. You can have three of these equipped at any time, as well as an unlimited supply in the Bottomless Bag.
These guys start at Level 1 with the same base stats as you. If they are involved in a battle they gain the EXP that you gain. If you use two or more though, the EXP is divided between the Partners (You still receive the full boost).

Finding Partners isn't so simple. You can find suitable characters that may join you immediately and others that won't. You may also get lucky and find a Medallion just laying there in the field, waiting to be picked up.

You simply use the Medallion to call out or return your Partner/s.

You can also try to catch an enemy and use them as a partner by using a Catch Medallion or Catch Medallion SP. See Items for more details.

Medallions can be stolen but they only work for the person who owns them. You can also give the Medallion to someone else if you want, or even trade them with others!

They can perform the same way you do in a battle, or the Field, with unique or different abilities.

Party

This is basically the other Players who come with you on a task or something. These are the people that you can refer to when you post. You can call for their help if you need it, too!
If your character comes across a Party, you can also choose to join that Party. If you are in a Party you can leave it at any time.

Buddy

This is a small character that is similar to a Partner, but doesn't have a Medallion, and is always available. They don't have any HP and can't battle. They are there only to act as assistance and someone other than a Partner to talk to when on your own. They are entirely optional.

Locations and Shops

Note: This list MAY CHANGE EVERY NOW AND THAN.

Locations:

This is all the different places you can visit. Upon signing up you will start in Rogueport by default. From there you access various other locations. In fact, there are currently three main cities. You can not explore beyond the other two... Yet. You may be able to explore a lot further as you grow in strength though! Also, you might also find that some of the locations are crossed out. This means travel is not allowed for some reason (like the town is under attack or something like that). If the location is missing from the list altogether but was there before, something excruciatingly bad has happened there and you can't go there at all until you find out why. If the location has never been in the list, that's because at least one player must be of a sufficient strength first!

At this current point in time all players can travel to these locations:

Rogueport (default)
Rogueport Underground (default)
Petal Meadows

Toad Town

Flipside

Yes, these locations are from the Paper Mario series. This is why they have been grouped according to the game they are from. As you can see, you are very limited. More areas will open up but you'll need to explore the ones available to expand your horizons. Check back often to find out what new areas have become available.

Shops:

This is a list of the TYPES of shops you will come across during your adventure. As before, shops may get added to the list, but can never be removed. There's a short description of what each shop functions for as well. After all, you need somewhere to spend your Rupees, right?

Item Shop: This is where you can buy items. The stock varies with each store.
Inn: This is where you can spend a small amount of Rupees and kick back for the night. Staying here replenishes HP and MP to full. If you stay here, please don't post again for at least 8 hours, as you are 'resting' during this time.
Toad House: Inns don't exist around Toads Town, these do. They have the same services as the Inns but are completely free. They are only around Toad Town and surrounding areas though.
Blacksmith: Your local weapon maker. Come here to get weapons and armor made for you.
Magic Teacher: These guys teach new Magic Abilities. If you don't want to wait for a level up for a new spell you can learn one here. Be warned: They don't come cheap!!
Bank: This is where you can store your Rupees without fear of them getting stolen. You'll have to pay 50 Rupees to use the service though.
Cafe: This is where you can ask the cooks to bake you something. Some are also inside the Inns around town, so sometimes you pay for your breakfast as well as the night stay. You can find an Item before you leave. There's also a Cafe/Inn where you choose how much you pay and what you pay will determine the item you find next morning....
Medallion Shop: This store sells Medallions that are fairly pricey. You can also buy a Catch Medallion or Catch Medallion SP here. What are Medallions? Read the Items section below!

Items

These are classified as follows: Regular, Super and Ultra. Each one costs more than the last and is more powerful. Each shop will only stock either Regular, Super, or Ultra, never any two or all three. You will also find their effects and costs here, too.

Regular Items

Shroom Shake: Restores 5 HP. Cost: 15 Rupees.

Long-Last Shake: Gradually restore HP at one die roll per turn in a battle. Cost: 20 Rupees.

Life Shroom: Brings you or a Partner or Party member if the lose all their HP. Activates automatically though. Cost: 50 Rupees.

Fire Flower: Attack all enemies with fire. Attack power: 7. Cost: 20 Rupees.

Ice Burst: Roll a die. Freezes enemies for the amount of turns shown on die. Cost: 30 Rupees.

Dizzy Dial: After activation, roll a die. This determines how long the Dizzy Dial affects the enemy. Now roll again. If it's a 3, 4, or 5, the affected character misses their attack. Cost: 15 Rupees.

Sleepy Sheep: Send your opponents to sleep for the amount of turns shown on the die. Those affected cannot attack. Cost: 15 Rupees.

Syrup: Restores 5 MP. Cost: 15 Rupees.

Big Pouch: Holds 250 Rupees. Cost: 100 Rupees.

Super Items

Super Shroom Shake: Restores 10 HP. Cost: 30 Rupees.

Stop Watch: Roll a die. Stops the opposition for that amount of turns. Cost: 40 Rupees.

Super Fire Flower: Attack enemies all over the battle with fireballs. ATK: 17. Cost: 60 Rupees.

Ice Storm: Roll two dice and add them up. The enemy is frozen solid for that many turns. ATK: 5. Cost: 65 Rupees.

Thunder Rage: Attacks all enemies with Thunder power. ATK: 10. Cost: 55 Rupees.

Volt Shroom: Shocks an enemy on contact. ATK: 3. Cost: 45 Rupees.

Large Pouch: Holds 500 Rupees. Cost: 250 Rupees.

Catch Medallion: If it works, you can use it to catch a creature into being a Partner. Roll a die. If it's a 4 or 5 its a success. Fails immediately on a 'tougher' enemy in an area. Cost: 90 Rupees.

Power Boost: Increases ATK by 1 next turn. Cost: 60 Rupees.

DEF Boost: Increases DEF by 1 next time user is attacked. Cost: 65 Rupees.

Ultra Items

Ultra Shroom Shake: Restores 50 HP. Cost: 60 Rupees.

Thunder Strike: Attacks an enemy and destroys it immediately. Cost: 250 Rupees.

Windy Gale: Blows one enemy from the battle, if a 4 or 5 is rolled. Cost: 120 Rupees.

Power Increase: Increase ATK by 2 next time you attack. Cost: 300 Rupees.

Defense Increase: Increase DEF by 2 next time you take damage. Cost: 280 Rupees.

Defense Block: Roll a die. If a 5 is rolled all damage dealt to the user is reduced to zero next time they are attacked.

Catch Medallion SP: If it works, catch the enemy and transfers them into a partner. For regular enemies it succeeds if a 3, 4, or 5 is rolled. For tougher enemies, it succeeds if a 4 or 5 is rolled. Cost: 200 Rupees.

Huge Pouch: Holds 750 Rupees. Cost: 500 Rupees.

Mega Pouch: Holds 900 Rupees. Cost: 750 Rupees.

Ultimate Pouch: Holds 1000 Rupees. Cost: 900 Rupees.

Infinite Pouch: Holds any number of Rupees. Cost: 1000 Rupees.

Weapons and Armor

This is the weapons and armor you can buy. Right now, I'm going to wait until some players sign up before I post anything.

These are grouped according to locations. Each enemy has stats that must be used to play a battle properly.

Each town doesn't have any enemies, except the occasional thief which could be any of these characters. Cities and Towns won't appear here simply because they have no enemies. If you are robbed, look for what you where robbed by here.

Well, here's my character!

Character Name: Shy Guy (eh, can't think of a name)
Character Species: Shy Guy
Appearance: Basically a Shy Guy. His robe is a slightly darker red, and the same applies for his brown belt and blue shoes. Short stature, but quick footed.
Weapon(s): Two sharp swords that are attached to gloves. The left glove holds a sword with two spikes going in opposite directions to allow for backward and forward slashing with high damage. The right glove has a defined "hook" curve to it and is used as a means of trapping the enemy to prepare for a massive onslaught with the double-edged sword on the left glove.
Magic Class: Dark
Magic Abilities: Not many magic abilities are known by Shy Guy, as he tends to focus on close-combat over powerful spells. However, he has mastered one magic ability, that being the dark tornado. Shy Guy spins around on the spot insanely fast and is able to slash all enemies on the field with mysterious shadows.
Ability: Shy Guy has started to practice the ability of slowing down time temporarily, which allows him to perform spectacular combos in midair, dodge enemy attacks with ease and handle multiple enemies at a time without trouble.
Profile: Shy Guy is often found venturing within the shadows, rarely interacting with others and is never known to show much expression. He is extremely talented with using his sword gloves to perform daring combo attacks, and is learning to master the ability to slow down time temporarily. How, and why, Shy Guy is filled with darkness is unknown, but he has clearly used this power to his advantage.

Here's a picture I whipped up over the last two hours, heh.

Are we going to have levels? I've just put "Level 1" for Shy Guy, but whatever, heh.

Yep. Everyone will start at level 1, even if they join quite some way into the game. Thanks for submitting your character so quickly too, NintenDan! Only one problem (and its probably not mentioned so I'll change it today when I get up) is that you didn't say how much ATK power Shy Guy's Magic Ability has. Just.... Don't make it over 8, he's still a level one.

Alright, whap the guidelines up and I'll edit my post as I see fit.

Oh, also, how will EXP work? Is it basically, the EXP required for the next level is your current level multiplied by 5? For example, at Level 1, to get to Level 2, I need 5 EXP. Then to get from 2 to 3, I need 5x2, which is 10? To get to 4, I need 5x3, which is 15, etc.?

Wait a sec Link... the requirements state that the character has to be from at least one Nintendo game. Is that guy from a Nintendo game? Heh.

Character Name: Skulduggery Pleasant

Appearance:

Profile: He is a detective, and sometimes drives a Bentley. He does not do too well with people, on account of they just plain don't like the way he operates. Known for his sense of humor even while in battle, but there lies something dark beneath his casual manour.

Your magic section makes him sound omnipotent.
Also, About the dice part. We could just lie about what we got on the dice. :/

You could lie about lots of things with this. You can lie about almost anything with an Internet RPG such as this. But it's up to you not to be an idiot and not lie.

A few problems I noticed:

Magic Class is whale: WTF is whale? Dark, White or Yin Yang are the only options as far as I know.
Stats are all wrong: You can only add two points to any stat from the base stats. Increasing 10/10 HP to 20/20 HP is obviously more than two. You need to rework your stats, sorry.

Ok, it sure seems like there's some interest in this! Here, I'll update the first post in a minute, but since people like to be able to use their own kind of character, please feel free to do so.

Another thing I've been noticing with sign ups, too, is that people seem to be using guns. Ok, I'll curve that rule A LITTLE.

This is fine, only one tiny little problem: You need to start off with 10 Rupees, not 15. Just edit that and you are IN!! Also, feel free to increase your ATK Power by 1 since you have a sword.

Character Name: Skulduggery Pleasant
Character Species: Skeleton
Appearance:
Weapon(s): fists, and a pistol or two.
Magic Class: Dark
Magic Abilities: Can control fire, water, air, and earth. (To an extent)
Ability: Taunting the enemy into a rage.
Profile:He is a detective, and sometimes drives a Bentley.

PS. Not from a Nintendo game you say? I'm 99% certain there was a skeleton in a Nintendo game. This one just decided to be nice (sort of) and be a detective. Who knows magic.

LEVEL 1
HP: 10/10
MP: 7/7
ATK: 3 (+1 for any attack, Pistol attack +2)
DEF: 2 (He's already dead.)
Speed: 7 (He weighs next to nothing.)

Equipped Medallions: None
Equipped Armor: None
Equipped Weapons: Pistol, (6 shots per battle)
Equipped Items: Awesome hat.
Bottomless Bag: Nothing

As stated above, please change the pistol. Even though it is limited, I'd prefer it not to be in the game. Apart from that, everything's fine.

Firstly, Rupees. I'm afraid not. You cannot start with this many, nor with this size of Rupee Pouch. You MUST start with 10 Rupees with a bag that can hold 100.
Secondly, HP. Start at 10, please. You are only a Level 1.
Thirdly, Whale isn't a Magic Class. Change it to either Dark, Light, or Yin Yang.
Fourthly, that's a LOT of abilities you have there. Start off with just one Special Ability, in fact, there should be no more than two, but you'll need to level up to unlock having two abilities. You can change Abilities every level, but you'll have to get rid of an existing one. You can always get the old one back, but at the cost of another.
You also have too many Magic Abilities - Restrict this to one, you can level up and earn more later.
Your stats were also not filled out correctly, either - remember to start off with these base stats:
HP: 10/10
MP: 7/7
ATK: 2
DEF: 2
Speed: 5
EXP: 0

And add either ONE to TWO different stats, or TWO to ONE stat.

And finally, the weapons - please, as stated at the beginning of this post, change them. Make 'em shoot pineapples or something, but not Bullet Bills.

Just fix those up, and you can play!
