If you've ever played The Urbz, you'll know exactly where I'm going. This is by FAR the worst Sims game I've ever played in my lifetime.

Gameplay: 5/10

Though the game is played like any other Sims game, be Nintendo and throw a bunch of crappy "new" features that EA expected you to think they were actually good. First thing I'd like to talk about is the poor character design. When you go to create your Sim, you can only change your facial features, which aren't even that good. There are about 5 default hairs which all look ugly as hell, then you got your basic features, head shape, ect. You can pick your "style" which pretty much predicts how your Urb will walk. After picking the area you want to start out at (I believe there are 10), you can start off. There are Nightclubs that require at least 10 REP to get in to, other clubs require more REP.

New "awesome" features!

Power Socials

Power Socials are items you can obtain by Dumpster Diving, and going to Nightclubs. You get them from Darius, and you only get 1-3 I believe. Pro tip: do NOT ever mess up on a Power Social. Expect your REP to go down tremendously and the Sim you're doing it too will now dislike you more. On the other hand, getting a power social correct will make the Urb your doing it to make him/her like you more tremendously, making it easy to win over that Urb.

Nightclubs

Probably one of the worst new features in the game. Nightclubs are in every area, guarded by the same Bouncer who will decline your request to enter if you don't have enough REP, and hosted by the same person as well, Darius. Going to a Nightclub when Darius is there can get you a power social, which you can use on other Urbz to make them like you.

REP

Beyond stupid, you can obtain REP two ways. There is Good REP, which can be obtained by being nice to other Urbz, and there is bad REP, which is being mean to other Urbz. If you have good REP, you will lose it for doing things other Urbz don't like, on the other hand if you have bad REP, doing good things will make you lose REP. All in all, REP is stupid.

INTERACTIVE JOBS

Though most Sim games have options to work, and get a job, this one actually makes you "work". It by no means is hard work, you simply have to press a combination of buttons, and doing certain task. It isn't that hard at all, if you get the combinations right each time you enter them, they will start to go faster, don't worry if you miss a combination or two, you won't lose money, it will just go slower, though doing it purposely can get you fired. It isn't even that hard when you get promotions, its just longer combinations.

Music: 1/10

Yes, The Sims is by no means famous for its music, but this game had music that was beyond awful, and is one of the many reasons why I despise this game. Its hard to explain, you're just going to have to listen to it yourself.

Overall rating: 5/10

The "plus" about buying this game doesn't even require you to play the game! Back in the day when you bought it, you got free Black Eyed Peas music downloads because Will.i.am made an appearance in the game. Though I'm not much of a Black Eyed Peas fan, their music is beyond better than The Urbz music. And for that, we thank you Black Eyed Peas.

lol yeah man that game was pretty bad. I think that was the last Sims game that I ever played. I haven't played one since.

I actually quite liked The Urbz ^^ And btw, you can change your clothes when you are in the certain maps :D The music thing is right though, and I'm no fan of Black Eyed Peas, but I'm sure they'd hate that review as they had some of their songs included in the game xD

I remember that I quite enjoyed it a few years ago. I played it on the DS though.

You could get Urbz on the DS? o.O I had it for the Xbox ;D
