Ok, since the last one FAILED, I'll make a new RPG. This one is a bit less complicated than the last one, with fewer die rolling elements and such. Sign-up is also simple, just fill in the character sheet.
This post should contain all the information you'll need to play. It's so simple anyone could do it!
Story:
For a certain reason (please specify in your characters bio) your character has travelled to Isle Delfino, specifically Delfino Plaza. Upon arrival you notice something in the sky. A mysterious black and purple dot. You know what that is.
A Void.
Void's have the power to completely destroy a world, sucking it into an alternate dimension that always has black and purple clouds that produce lightning all around. Very few who entered one of these have come back out alive. The Void has brought with it the Heartless, weird black beings that feed off the negative energy of others. They are heavily populating Isle Delfino.
You now have a mission: Stop that Void at all costs.
Objective:
Stop the Void. You'll need to do this by gathering the Silver Stars. Once all are gathered they will transform into a Grand Star which will take you to the Void.
Of course, your character knows nothing about how to stop the Void, not even the Silver Stars. You'll need to ask for information around the place.
Locations:
You'll be able to go to everywhere on Isle Delfino. If you don't know what these areas look like then look up a few videos about Super Mario Sunshine.
You can visit these in any order, HOWEVER until one Silver Star is found the only areas open are Bianco Hills and of course Delfino Plaza. Each time a certain number of Silver Stars are found a new world opens up. The first two are easy to open but the number increases after that. Each world has many Silver Stars, so keep your eyes peeled!
Special stages will also appear but are not open until one Silver Star has been located in each world. They all open at the same time.
Note: "left" is how many Silver Stars everyone has to find total to open the world. When I've made final decisions, the "Still to find" will appear next to it, indicating how many more Silver Stars can be found.
Worlds:
Delfino Plaza (Open from start)
Bianco Hills (Open from start)
Ricco Harbour (1 Silver Star required - 1 left.)
Gelato Beach (2 Silver Stars required - 2 left.)
Pinna Park (5 Silver Stars required - 5 left.)
Sirena Beach (10 Silver Stars required - 10 left.)
Noki Bay (12 Silver Stars required - 12 left.)
Pianta Village (15 Silver Stars required - 15 left.)
Corona Mountain (20 Silver Stars required - 20 left.)
Secret Areas (To open, all players together must have one Silver Star from each world at least):
Hillside Cave (Not open.)
Dirty Lake Secret (Not open.)
Ricco Tower (Not open.)
Dune Bud Sand Castle (Not open.)
Beach Cannon Secret (Not open.)
The Yoshi-Go-Round (Not open.)
Hotel Lobby Secret (Not open.)
The Secret Shell (Not open.)
Village Underside (Not open.)
The Legendary Sandbird (Not open.)
Shops:
The currency is Coins. You'll need to buy Items and services from shops to help in your search. These are the Shops available and what you can buy from them. For services, the amount you'll have to pay is shown. All the Shops in Delfino Plaza are located to the East side, where the fruit sellers where in Super Mario Sunshine.
Item Shop - Stocks Revive Crystals, Healing Herbs, and other Items.
Motel - Heals you fully, regardless of the condition you enter in. Costs 10 Coins. Only in Delfino Plaza and there is only one.
Hotel - Heals you fully, regardless of the condition you enter in. No real extra features from a Motel and is only on Sirena Beach. Costs 30 Coins, but at least breakfast is included - a free Healing Herb and Revive Crystal are yours to take.
Fruit Shop - One in every world, excluding specials. Better buy Fruit if you want to ride Yoshi for an extended period of time.
Egg Shop - These are scattered around everywhere, some appear in Worlds and others don't. Some specialise in one Yoshi Egg colour and others don't. See the Yoshi section for costs.
Items:
Revive Crystals - Revives you from Unconsciousness. One use only. Cost: 20 Coins.
Healing Herb - Restores all health. Can't revive you if you are Unconscious. Cost: 10 Coins.
Life Shroom - Boost yourself so you can take up to 200% damage instead of 100. Once you reach 200% though, you are Unconscious and the effect fades. Using anything that restores damage after passing 100% will also negate the effects, dropping you back to whatever you may have had leftover after healing. Cost: 15 Coins.
Magic Crystals - Use these to add 1 to your die roll for Magic. If you roll a 6, subtract 1. Cost: 20 Coins.
More Items coming soon... Maybe.
Yoshi:
Yoshis are a good mode of transport on the Isle. They can set you back a bit of cash though - you'll need to feed them every 5 posts to avoid him dying. You can purchase or find 7 different coloured Yoshis. Their costs and special abilities are listed below. The Green Yoshi is the easiest to find outside of an Egg Shop whilst the Black and White ones are hard to find, even IN a Shop.
Green: Basic. Doesn't use any Magic and is the easiest to find. Cost: 25 Coins.
Red: Uses the Fire Element. Cost: 50 Coins.
Dark Blue: Uses the Water Element. Cost: 50 Coins.
Light Blue: Uses the Ice Element. Cost: 50 Coins.
Yellow: Uses the Electric Element. Cost: 50 Coins.
Pink: Uses the Wind Element. Cost: 50 Coins.
Black: Uses the Shadow Element, and is hard to find. Cost: 100 Coins.
White: Uses the Shine Element, and is hard to find. Cost: 100 Coins.
Okay, that's all the boring stuff. Now for the character creation!
Copy this into your post first:
Name:
Origin:
Age:
Gender:
Appearance:
Backstory:
Personality:
Weapon:
Magic Class:
Elements:
Special Abilities:
Ok, now let's break these into more detail:
Name: The name of your character. Please choose something that isn't directly related to the character i.e. no characters called "Yoshi". That's too generic.
Origin: Well, where'd your character come from before here?
Age: How old is your character?
Gender: Male or Female? Or both? Or none?
Appearance: What the character looks like. You can provide a picture too, if you like.
Backstory: What's the original reason your character came to Isle Delfino?
Personality: What your characters personality is like. Are they shy? Fun? Loud? Stupid? This can also serve as a Bio.
Weapon: Your characters weapon. *Important* MELEE WEAPONS ONLY. NO OTHER WEAPONS ALLOWED. You want a projectile, use your Magic. The ONLY exceptions are bows and arrows, and slingshots.
Magic Class: Dark, Light, or Yin-Yang? You can change this at any time. Here's what each do:
Dark: Uses Magic for attacking rather then defending.
Light: Uses Magic for defending and healing rather then attacking.
Yin Yang: Uses both Dark and Light Magic. But it isn't as powerful as someone who specialises in one or the other. You can also choose to "Lean" more to one then the other.
Elements: These are the Elements you can use. Each Magic has an Element. You can learn a maximum of two, after that you'll have to replace one with the one you want to learn. If you forgot one and then later decide you want it back, it will take less time to relearn it. The Elements are:
Shadow (weak to Shine. Strong against Shine.)
Shine (weak to Shadow. Strong against Shadow.)
Fire (weak to Water. Strong against Forest.)
Water (weak to Forest. Strong against Fire.)
Forest (weak against Fire. Strong against Water.)
Ground (weak against Wind. Strong against Electricity.)
Electricity (weak against Ground. Strong against Wind.)
Wind (weak against Electricity. Strong against Ground.)
Special Abilities: Things like running fast, or being stealthy. A physical enhancement. Only one at a time, please. And no shape-shifting, either.
Levels, EXP, Battles, and Damage:
Firstly, Levels. Each time you level up you will need an extra 5 EXP Points to get to the next level. Here's the first 10:
Level 2: 10 EXP
Level 3: 15 EXP
Level 4: 20 EXP
Level 5: 25 EXP
Level 6: 30 EXP
Level 7: 35 EXP
Level 8: 40 EXP
Level 9: 45 EXP
Level 10: 50 EXP
Looks simple, but your EXP drops to 0 after a level up, regardless if there's any left over.
Here's how levels will help you in battle. Take a note of your current level and what level your enemy is at. If you are:
The same level: Roll a die. If you get an even number, you won. If you get an odd number, you lost.
Between 1 and 5 Levels higher: Roll a die. If it's a 1, you lost. If its a 2, you lost, but are Restricted, not unconscious. If its a 3, you won, but add 25% to Damage. If its a 4, you won, but add 10% to Damage. If it's a 5, you won and took no Damage. If it's a 6, you won, but add 75% to Damage.
More than 5 Levels higher: Automatic victory. Roll a die for Damage. If it's a 1, add 75%. If it's a 2, add 50%. If it's a 3, add 25%. If it's a 4, add 10%. If it's a 5 or 6, don't add anything.]
Between 1 and 5 Levels Lower: Roll a die.
More than 5 Levels Lower: Automatic loss. Roll a die. If it's an even number, you are Incapable. If it's an odd number, you are unconscious.
Now, EXP. Each time you defeat an enemy, roll the die. The number shown is how much EXP you get. Roll once per enemy. If the enemy is 10 or higher, roll 2 dice. If it's level 20 or higher, roll 3, etc.
Next, Battles. Much simpler this time, just follow the above rules about Levels. You also don't need to have too many battles in the game either. You lose a battle when your damage is at 100%.
One thing to note though. If you lose a battle... You will be either Unconscious or Incapable.
Unconscious: You cannot move. At all. Wait until someone helps you out. If you've fallen in the sights of a Shop, they drag you inside and heal you.
Incapable: You can still fight... Sorta. You are on the ground and can barely move. You can't use your wepaon, and can only cast Magic. One more hit and you're unconcious though. You can therefore try to battle the enemy but as soon as you take even the slightest hit you're a goner.
Using Magic in a Battle requires the roll of the die. If its a:
1: Epic Fail.
2: Kinda fail.
3: Kinda success
4: Success
5: Perfect success
6: Overshot
Finally, Damage. Unlike HP this number automatically goes up to 100%, starting at 0. Each time you take damage add it to this number, when you reach 100%, you are Incapable or Unconscious depending on a roll of the die. If it wasn't covered in the Level section, simply roll an even number for Incapable or an odd for Unconscious.

Rules:
- You can make your own enemies - in fact I'm counting on it!! Haha!
- The first character you make is automatically a Hero. You can only make 2 Heroes. You can make as many villians as you like though. Make sure the villians have something to do with your characters plot though.
- No killing eachother's characters. Please PM me if you want to kill your character first.
- You are NOT allowed to control any other players characters, only they can. If their character doesn't repsond then your character should walk away from them as if they said nothing.
- Get creative with that Magic - offensively you could summon a tidal wave of water, defensively a bubble!
- Do what you like, but keep your objective in mind!
- KEEP POSTING. Even if I don't post keep this active or the game will die, and the next RPG I make will go back to EXTREME BASICS. If that fails too, I won't bother making another one.
- If we can defeat that Void... An extra story may be added with a new world to explore in!
- Remember the main enemies are the Heartless but this IS a Mario World, so there are many Mario enemies here too.
- Please restrict yourself to video game characters. No make-your-own. Of course, if you want to use a Yoshi with Wings, go for it. The main STRUCTURE of the character has to be the same but the character can have different features and colours.
- Battles this time are all about how creative you wanna get. The battle system has been tuned down as it gets confusing and turns into a really long post. DO NOT tell us what you rolled - just say whether you failed or not. But make it sound epic!
- Any questions, let me know. If you wanna step out of character put OOC: before the comment. To get back into character, use: RP:.
- If you don't know what the worlds look like.... Youtube a Super Mario Sunshine video. These are basically the same.
- If you get knocked unconscious, DO NOT continuosly post things such as "Hurry up and save me". I certainly won't save you.
- Feel free to team up with others: actually, this is much safer then travelling alone!
- At the end of each post, PLEASE STATE THE FOLLOWING: Level, Damage, Magic Class, Elements, EXP, Coins, and Items.
