The Wii successor is called just 'Nintendo'?

The most recent reports Game Informer is hearing, just two days before the show? It's possible the final name will be just a single word that everyone is already familiar with.

Nintendo.

Is this possible? Are they cutting the names back to simpler ones, just the company name?

Complete BS. It'll never happen. It would cause way too much confusion, and would cause huge problems where copyrights and trademarks are concerned (in fact it may not even be allowed).
