The Witcher 3 Gameplay Hours

CD Projekt RED's next Witcher game is going to be a time sink.

Senior Game Designer Damien Monnier revealed on Twitter that the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will take players over 200 hours to finish if they "do everything".

The confirmation is unsurprising. Back in January, CD Projekt RED told us that it wanted to make an "open-world where there there were no boundaries. Where our artists could do whatever they wanted." It's also in step with the rumour that The Witcher 3 has a 50 GB install on PS4.

damn, I hope the game is good enough to get someone to play that long.

I hope some fool out there doesn't try to break the record and try to finish it in one sitting. I've heard of people who almost died by playing video games for days without any breaks for meals and sleep.

Eh, from the seems of things a lot are side quests which are mainly 'fetch' tasks. I will play the main story and maybe some side quests but doubt I will spend 200 hours doing everything - not enough time. Nice to see another meaty content game on the market though.
