The Xbox 360 is now discontinued...

It's had a good run (apparently, it even outsold the Wii in the US, at least eventually), but it's now ceased production:

So yeah, it's the end of an era. The Xbox 360 is now not being made any more. Thoughts on that announcement?

Let us never forget the console being revealed by Elijah Wood, the fabled hobbit that destroyed the ring. We will miss this "mother" of the indie gaming scene on consoles, but we will not miss the red ring of death.

I never cared for the console personally myself, and the only reason I would have ever got one is Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts. I won't miss it.

If it wasn't for the 360, I would of never purchased my xbox one. This was a good system while it was around.

I never did get one despite the temptation to play a modern Perfect dark game on it, maybe one day yet I'll get one.

My 3rd console, a classic! Hopefully all the games we like are 'backwards compatible' on Xbox One

My hubby has one of these but I've never played any of the games he had for it. Since I never played it, I can't say anything good or bad about it. I know my hubby has enjoyed it, however, I figured it had to come to an end at some point. At some point they want you to move forward and get that next console that they come out with.

I think it's because microsoft loves to make money and Sony isn't really money hungry like them.
