Themed Teams

With all of the competitive battling and tiers and strategy people consider when making a Pokemon team, have you ever tried to make a team themed around one of your favorite movies, tv shows, or video games?

In the past I've done 2 and am planning 2 more. First I made a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle team (as seen in my signature) and then a Final Fantasy Dissidia Cosmos team to battle my friend's Chaos team.

The Pokemon in the FF team were Zebstrika (Lightning), Tentacruel (Jecht), Staraptor (Squall), Umbreon (Cecil), Cloyster (Kain), Lopunny (Tifa)

What kind of ideas would you have for a themed team?

I can post my ideas for my other teams if you are interested.

I do not understand how Jecht is a Tentecruel. Sin seemed more like an armored whale to me.
With scales....and lasers..

I'm definitely interested in other ideas, these are unique and I've never thought about them before, so yeah. Cecil is a bit of an Umbreon too, heh... oh Cecil... *stares off into distance*

Yeah well, he also has tentacles. And spews poison. Oh, and in the banned episode of Pokemon, Tentacruel was gigantic. Also, it made for good team synergy.

Lol well i forgot about all that.
Since Pokemon has been on quite the down slide lately.
The best pokemon seasons was when misty was still there.

What about Team Rocket? From 1st gen. They had Arbok, Weezing, Meowth and some more.

So, I've started breeding my newest theme team: an RU tier team based on Resident Evil! I'm thinking on a Tangrowth named Uroburos with the Regenerator skill, Galvantua named Wester wearing Choice Specs and using Volt Switch. a Kecleon named Farfello (invisible Hunter), and a few others.

Now, should I try to focus more on Revelations? Different strains of viruses? Or just pick and choose things like I've been doing?

In its place, you could have Farfetch'd (hunted to near extinction due to tastiness) or Miltank named Milkshake or Tauros named Angus.
