I am not sure if reincarnation is real, but there are some people who claim to be reincarnated, so it is possible that they maybe telling the truth.

If there is reincarnation, it won't be the exact same as before. Why would it all be exactly the same if it were? If there is an afterlife, then it would have to contain all the things that make us who we are. So there could be both, but who's to say what we feel will be in reincarnation or heaven after this death?

I believe that the reincarnation occurs when the new born shows signs such as mark the death one had or in some cases, make certain statements that is not ordinary.

Maybe it's a personality trait IMO of a person that chooses to be born again that can cause it to happen, rather than just claiming it as such based on some vague connection.

The argument can come on the ground that not everyone that is living reincarnated. So, it is a faulty belief though.
