Not too long ago, SEGA confirmed it will be continuing its train wreck series Sonic Boom. This one is a Nintendo 3DS exclusive called Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice.
It's supposed to resemble Shattered Crystal more than anything, but with less emphasis on exploration and more focus on that good old "GATTA GOW FAZT!!!!!1111" style of gameplay. The Fire mechanic is used to melt blocks of ice, whereas the Ice mechanic is used to freeze stationary water (well, there goes physics).
Each character will make a comeback, with Amy becoming a playable character this time around.
Personally, I'm excited for this. I enjoyed Shattered Crystal more than Rise of Lyric, what with the running and stuff. Plus, SEGA isn't leaving consoles like we first thought. What are your opinions on this recently confirmed sequel?
