Xbox One has been released now nearly a year and before it's release there was a lot of speculation as to how it would have problems, people did not like the changes they had made and such.

What are your thoughts on the Xbox One since it's release in November 2013?

I personally feel it is a lot better than I expected. I have not had any problems with my Xbox One at all since release and I find it really easy to use and did so from the start.

I agree with the above post. They have done a great job in getting people back on board and taking away the things that worried all of us... they are somewhat back in the competition. That said, I still would not buy one just because they could decide to implement these stipulations again.

I don't really want one due to a lack of games I am interested in, but I do feel it is still expensive at $399. I think $300-350 is a better price. I think more people get a Xbox One if Fable, Halo, and other of the better Xbox games get release for it.

Sunset Overdrive does look pretty good. (It's made by Insomniac Games aka makers of Ratchet and Clank... So you can bet it's going to be a blast to play and have some pretty funny moments.)

But I think that the Xbox One has come a long way. They've done a ton of damage control and have really worked to show gamers they're listening. Though more games is most assuredly necessary.

That stated, I still wouldn't buy one for a few reasons...
1- I don't have the money for one.

2- They have very few games which I really want to play. (Dead Rising 3 and Sunset Overdrive being the only really big ones I want to play. If I got an X1 then I'd probably pick up Halo collection too though. But I'm not overly concerned with it.)

3- I'd be worried that their old DRM hasn't truly been removed. That they could decide (maybe if/when the next Xbox division operator takes over) to reinstate everything. They likely have the original code laying about somewhere that they could revise and re-implement. But I suppose if they did they'd earn another round of beating by gamers.
