I had to upgrade my hardware to improve the game performance. A good GPU, CPU, and RAM can definitely make a huge difference. Also, it’s essential to optimize your settings and also close unnecessary programs to improve performance.

I agree with the optimisation of the settings. For online games, you need to check your internet connection because a fast and stable connection can reduce lag and improve overall performance as well.

Maintaining your hardware can improve performance of the game. I clean dust my PC regularly and also update my operating system too . This heped to enhance performance a lot.

Do you know hardware becomes outdated the moment you buy it? :p

Closing un-needed programs like MS Office before gaming could make gaming faster. Setting game video quality settings to medium and low can help a game run faster on slower computers. Setting Windows Power Plan to High Performance may help games run better.

I think scanning your computer for viruses, malware, spyware, and adware with an antimalware, antivirus, and antispyware programs, and removing malware and spyware if the scan found any virus and malware files can make your computer faster after removing the virus and malware programs.

Upgrading a PC's video card, RAM, CPU, and SSD to a faster and better video card, RAM and video card would make a PC faster. It is important to properly maintaining a PC by cleaning out dust from inside your computer to stop thermal throttling to the CPU where the CPU slowdown the CPU to prevent overheating the CPU.

Upgrading the computer's cooling system maybe needed if your computer is thermal throttling very often because your CPU and video card is always running very hot because your current cooling fans are not good enough to cool your computer parts.

Users may need to upgrade their motherboard, CPU heatsink, and RAM if they want to upgrade their CPU to a different model or brand like Intel to AMD because the new CPU and RAM won't fit on the user's old motherboard, and the old CPU heatsink won't fit on the new CPU and motherboard.

Upgrading to a higher wattage and higher quality power supply on a Desktop PC maybe necessary if the old power supply is not powerful enough to run newer more power intensive computer parts.
