* eSATA Support - support for External SATA hard-drives allowing for 500GB of extra storage.
* Progressive Downloads - start watching TiVoCast and Unbox content as they download.
Still, these boxes still cost around $600 and have a monthly fee. An HD DVR from your cable provider just has that monthly fee.
Sure, you won't own it, but you also don't have to drop $600. They are less featured, though.
