TMNT Gets a Makeover

Hold onto your shells, kids, as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back... again. That's right, yet another reimagining of the TMNT clan is set to take place thanks to the folks over at Nickelodeon, who have revealed the working art style for the new program -- set to debut in 2012.

Slashfilm has the first look at the brand new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles television series, which is set to air on Nickelodeon thanks to the sale of the asset back in 2009 from Mirage Group and the often-loathed 4Kids Entertainment, in which Nickelodeon coughed up $60 million in order to acquire the rights to the beloved children's franchise on several decades.
