Toaru Majutsu no Index Movie

For those that don't know, the movie will be released in 4 days on February 23 2013. I was personally hoping for a 3rd season but I guess we still have a while to wait before that happens.

On another note, the 2nd season of Toaru Kagaku no Railgun (A Certain Scientific Railgun), spin-off of Toaru Majutsu no Index( A Certain Magical Index) will be aired as from April 2013. Hopefully we'll at least get to see more about Accelerator and Last Order.

For those that never heard of it, this anime is basically about the conflicts between Espers (science) and Magicians (the church) as well as their internal conflicts.

Kamijou Touma is a student living in Academy City, a highly advanced place in terms of technology. Despite being gauged as a level zero esper (no powers), he possesses on his right hand the Imagine Breaker, an ability that negates any power whatsoever (including his own luck). Touma finds a young girl named Index who is trying to run away from Necessarius, a powerful magic organization that she is member of. Blessed with the skill of memorizing any sort of information, she holds 103,000 forbidden magical books within her head. As science and magic cross paths, Touma must face several dangers amid espers and magicians who appear at the exciting scientific town.

sounds similar to trinity blood, I'll put this on my list to watch.

Its not that similar, Trinity Blood was much darker while this one is mostly about the comedy aspect. Although some scenes tend to be bloody. \
Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut as you can guess, there'll be a lot of epic fight scenes.
