Atlus U.S.A., Inc., hanging onto the hood of a speeding car, today announced that Tokyo Beat Down, the over-the-top cop drama/comedy side-scrolling beat 'em up for Nintendo DS, is now available in select retailers across North America. The publisher drew attention to the game's fresh combination of fist-on-gun-on-fist action with a hilarious script loaded with unforgettable one-liners, and then proceeded to leap into a crowd of armed thugs, dealing out sweet justice one fist at a time. Atlus was last heard exclaiming something about Tokyo Beat Down being a "can't miss" for fans of the genre and action games in general, but this was quickly followed with a "prepare to get beaten down" directed at the hoodlums.
Tokyo Beat Down for Nintendo DS is in stores now. Typically, justice waits for no one, but in this case, it's waiting for you.
