PS3 Tomb Raider Underworld glitch

I got a PS3 months ago and played Tomb Raider Underworld. I played the game through the end, and tried to play it again. This time, the door handle in the first level is missing. The one where the player inserts it into the doors to make the circles spin around. It's supposed to be in the cavern, but the pedestal where it always is, it isn't there. I tried rebooting and even clearing space on the memory. I also tried changing difficulty levels. I'd like to play the game again, but it seems to be a software error on the console. Does anyone have this problem?

I found one site, linking to another forum with some fixes but the site is gone you might want to restart or double check you have everything.

Sorry to hear you're running into that glitch. I know how frustrating it can be when things like that happen. I've also seen some stuff like that on older consoles too. Have you tried deleting your save file and starting fresh?
