They got to have some kind of issue to drive the movie plot really.
Just one.
That said protagonist undergoes a lot of things in his life before getting a happy ending for himself.

Uh... Well here is the thing.
In most of the movies, the protagonist undergoes too many failures like once in a life time system error etc, and then he would overcome all of them to attain what he wants...I hope that makes sense now

But still there is a limit to how much a person can go through right? I don't think people here understands that
You could just use suspension of disbelief. It’s like how we can watch movies about magic and talking animals. Those aren’t real.
