Toonami next month will be airing the following movies:

Akira, Summer Wars, Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa, and Trigun: Badlands Rumble in this order on each weekend airing.

Then in January Toonami will be airing Naruto Shippuden (replacing Naruto) and Space Dandy.

Anybody see the movies?

I've seen all of those movies already.

But one thing that does interests me is Toonami getting Naruto Shippuden.
How did they swing that when Disney XD still has the rights to air it in America?

probably because some pissed off fan tore the rights out of Disney XD's cold dead hands. Because XD really killed shippuden.

yea, they really butchered the hell out of it lol.

At least we don't have to worry about that now with Toonami.

The only question I have now is which episode they are going to start from.

Hopefully they do like they did with One Piece and start from a much later episode rather than from the beginning.

I've seen Akira and Full Metal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa. But not the other two. I didn't even know they made a Trigun movie... (If it is actually a movie and not just like 3-4 episodes spliced together.)

But its a movie that really does not add much to the plot in my opinion.

It would be cool if it took place after the anime ending of trigun or better yet it was based off of the manga (which I think was better), but it seems like just a filler movie to me.

I don't watch many movies, but the movies for Naruto and bleach add nothing to the plot. It's just more screen time for their favorite characters or expand on a plot that don't get much light in the anime.

Which do you think I should watch @DS? I might not watch Fullmetal Alchemist because I MIGHT start watching the series, >_>  (I might skip when they were kids)

The FMA is based on the first series, so you will need to watch that and this movie before moving onto brother hood.

Not sure about the trigun movie but for the first two movies I've herd great things about.
