The Team of the Week is an important event for Ultimate Team in FIFA 23 – and will bring a few interesting players to the game... at least for the first three weeks. All jokes aside, let's just hope EA Sports will learn from the mistakes they made in the last year and that the TOTW will be able to compete with the other FUT events for a little longer.

FIFA 23 TOTW Explained: Release Date
Every Wednesday at 6 PM, a new TOTW is coming and replaces the previous week's TOTW. You will then be able to pull the players in FUT packs for the next seven days.
The Team of the Week awards players who showed particularly good performances on the previous match day in real life. These players receive a special card with a rating upgrade of at least +1 OVR. By the way, the Team of the Week is important for other events as well. For the launch of FIFA 23, Ones to Watch cards could potentially get better.
Thanks to the new positioning system in FIFA 23, the TOTW players receive some strange adjustments. If a player gets a TOTW Special Card with a new main position, the default secondary positions will be gone.

The new Team of the Week brings great players in every area of the pitch. Kevin Trapp has your back in Goal. Theo Hernández is already one of the best left backs with his gold card, and we don't even have to talk about Mohamed Salah. Maybe we will even see them in the Best of Team of the Week.
