Now, we acknowledge that the following information is, at this point, just a rumor. However, it's a rumor that's been cited in a lot of places, so it stands a good chance of being true. Apparently, Transformers 2 has a release date, and that date is June 26, 2009. So, set your calendars for stun, and get ready for the second coming of Optimus Prime.
Or, maybe not. Still, Michael Bay has made no bones about the fact that he's ready to do a sequel, and that he'd like to get moving on it sooner than later, so it's not out of the question that the date is valid. We'll keep you posted as we know more.
