Trick or Treat or just buy?

Do you go trick or treating for your candy or do you just go out and buy it to avoid any risks?

I allow my children to go out trick or treating however I am seriously considering stopping that starting next year and maybe just doing something inside for them instead as so many either don't bother answering the door now or you get too many trouble causers out and about making it a little unsafe for the youngsters.

I prefer trick or treating when I was younger since I did not have money for candy when I was young. Dressing up can also be pretty fun if I got a cool costume.

I don't usually buy candy these days because I already have candy which people gave me as gifts for Christmas, and other holidays.
