Twisted Metal Movie

The co-director of Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Brian Taylor, will be both writing and directing a Twisted Metal movie. It's being produced by super nerds Avi and Ari Arad.

The movie's setting will stick to that of the game's, namely by being about a bunch of psychos who stick weapons on vehicles, and will feature stars like Sweet Tooth and Doll Face.

I am not sure on this project. Jaffe is just about done with Twisted Metal. The game didn't do that well with the myriad of launch problems it had. He told me on Twitter he does't think Sony is that high on another game either. Perhaps the movie could rekindle everyone's interest but Its sort of a cult following this game.

If they are going to do a twisted metal film, they should first watch Jason Statham's film, death race as I felt that movie looked like a twisted metal film.

It better be badass! I used to love playing Twisted Metal on my old PSone. It was one of my favorite games to play. They already have a great concept to work off of now they just need to come up with a great story to go along with it.

The reason movies games aren't great is because they keep doing it wrong/what they want. Great potential they have to be good movies, just they mess it up by not following the game.
