Twitch getting new video player

Seems one of the ongoing complaints about Twitch is that its players are not exactly PC friendly but starting today for it's Turbo paid users, a new video player will be available that will be more easier to handle and quicker load times.

Is the new player eventually available to everyone? I think I can agree the player currently isn't the best - hopefully this one is better.

Nope, it's very shocking to say. However that's unfair for those are on the free account that doesn't have that option. And of the day the more views that video has the more money they have from advertisement

sounds like its still in beta testing.

Hopefully, there will still be a Twitch video Player which uses Adobe Flash player because a lot of older and slower computers with a single-core CPU, and slower videocard can't run HTML5 at a good speed in my experience. Some older web browsers also don't support HTML5.

I think it would be nice if users can use a media player like VLC, Media Player Classic, or Windows Media Player to watch streaming video, so user's don't need to have a web browser open to watch Twitch video.
