Twitter Allows Full-Sized Images

I am surprise that it took so long for Twitter to decide to show full-size images in the Twitter feed instead of cropped pictures. Some of the crop pictures in Twitter did not look good, or crop too much of the original picture.

I don't use Twitter very much but I think this is a good move to try and attract more users away from instagram and facebook.

I think most members who use Twitter prefer to endlessly scroll down the website, and clicking on a cropped picture to see the full picture is less convenient. Twitter probably earn more money from ads when people keep scrolling down Twitter, and view more ads in their feed.

Some users may not like that their images are automated cropped because the automatic picture crops may make their promotional pictures look weird, or change the story of the picture until users click the crop picture to see the full size picture.
