So anyone here have to use a type C cable? Most new phones use it and some PCs come with the port built in already.
All my stuff still use Micro-USB ports, and a few older devices use Mini-USB.
I feel USB-C buying cables can be risky since some bad USB-C cables fried laptops and smartphones. There is always a chance of getting a defective USB-C cable which fry your smartphone.
My sister got a lenovo z2 plus and for that, the cable she uses is type c.
For me, it looks weird and I don't know why companies are making different stuff now...it's better to stick to one thing.
honestly you could get a defective cable for any type really.
