Watch Ubuntu founder Mark Shuttleworth explain Ubuntu for tablets and what it offers industry partners.

I like how one tablet can become a desktop computer when you connect it to a keyboard, and mouse, a TV operating system when you hook it up to a TV, and a Tablet when you use it as a tablet.

I wonder if there would be Ubuntu Tablets which work for Steam for Linux, so you can attach a controller to the tablet, and use it as a portable gaming pc with a controller.

Ubuntu desktop is already faster and lighter than Android 4. This is absolutely perfect for those cheap knock-off tablets and phones imported from China, because this actually offers those devices a light mobile OS they can actually handle.

This OS, if it plays it's cards right could absolutely steal the mobile market, because it would mean companies will offer phones that are far less expensive, yet can do all the same stuff.
