The anime centers on the journey of two brothers named Nanba Mutta and Nanba Hibito, who made the decision to become astronauts after witnessing a UFO one fateful night as kids. Mutta just lost his job, so he joins the JAXA astronaut selection program. This gets him one step closer to joining his brother Hibito, who became an astronaut and is about to go on a mission to the moon at the beginning of the series.
