What's old is new again. In the case of the Original Kindle Fire, it keeps the same Kindle Fire look but gains a few spec bumps. First off the Kindle Fire is now priced at $159, a nice price drop for the popular e-reader/tablet. The Kindle Fire also receives 40% faster performance with upgraded processors 1.2GHz OMAP4430, double the RAM/1GB capacity and longer battery life.

159.99 for a 1.2GHz, 1GB RAM, 8GB and free cloud storage for 159 dollars is a great deal for someone who just want to read, watch movies, play casual games, browse the web, and do other tablet tasks on a Tablet.
The screen also seems to be slightly more colorful, and brighter then the older version.
But, I feel more people prefer the faster Amazon Kindle HD 8.9 inch for 299, or even the 7 inch Kindle Fire HD for 199.99.
