The US Army IT department seem to be the place to apply for if you want to learn and work with the latest IT tech rather then working at a school's or office IT department which might still be using Windows XP, MS Office 2003, floppy drives, and Fax machines which are outdated.

I'm amaze at how many supercomputers, and how fast the internet the army uses. They also seem to be up to date on mobile computing, and other newer tech.

The days of fighting war on land is becoming a thing of the past, soon it will all be cyber space stuff. So the army must stay on top with the tech.

I agree most wars will be fought on the internet or with Robots which are controlled from a computer, or a software program built-into it.

I think there may be Gundam robotic suits in the future which are controlled by a pilot inside of it in the future.
