Nintendo said today that first week U.S. sales for the 3DS were "just shy" of 400,000 units. Traditional Nintendo DS sales for the month of March totaled more than 460,000 units.
For comparison, first week U.S. sales for the Nintendo DSi equaled 435,000 units while the DS Lite came in at 226,000 units.
Software sales dominated for the month of March with Pokemon Black & White selling 2.5 Million copies combined.
